We had a beautiful 1 bedroom suite on the 17th floor, our views we over the canal. I loved having a washer and dryer. Pool was good, front desk service was good, location was a bit out of the way from the main party area but we were happy about that. Our suite was very clean but paint and chips in walls should be touched up.
The view from our room was great, we could see the ocean and river. We loved the lounge and dining space, the bedrooms were spacious. There were pillow options in the master bedroom and the mattress was excellent. The staff were very …
Spent the weekend recently and I am disappointed with the price we had to pay with the state of our room on arrival.
Microwave didn’t work, mould all over the showers, dirty marked walls, brown stains all over the carpet, food all over the floors, bathroom floor looked like it hasn’t been mopped, grease, oily marks all over bedroom windows, stains and food over the couch, what looked like urine stains on the beds. (Photos of everything). Felt like too much effort going down to ask for support and decided to spend most of our time out of the room and only to come back to sleep.
It’s a Shame because it was great location and looked great online but definitely could have stayed somewhere else that was nicer for the same price.
honesty great place just lack a couple necessities in the rooms such as more toilet paper, salt and pepper packets ( they had like 50 sugar ones), the pillow stains and the broken curtains. Other than that our trip was quite enjoyable. As the hotel is about a 15 min walk from everything it’s nice and quiet at night
Overall it was good. Had a good week there in a nice apartment with some nice views. Pool and Sauna was a bonus with a nice security guard that was friendly the whole time. Would definitely suggest it for friends & or family in future.
My stay at Ruby Hotel Apartments in Gold Coast had its pros and cons.
On the bright side, I enjoyed a 10-day stay at this casual apartment hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in several ways. I opted for a one-bedroom apartment and was pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and the breathtaking balcony view. The city and limited beach views from my apartment were nothing short of amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to wake up each day. The combination of a skyline view in front and a sea view on the left meant that I could enjoy both sunrises and sunsets right from my room, which added a special touch to my stay.
However, cleanliness was a bit of an issue. It seems the housekeeping service was somewhat lacking, as they only changed the bedsheets and dirty towels. Additional cleaning and maintenance would have been better with more frequent housekeeping services, especially for guests staying longer than a week.
The service at the reception left much to be desired, with a notably slow check-in process. improvements in reception service and cleaning frequency would make the stay even better.
overall it was mediocre. the room was nice however one of the stove tops didn’t work, as well as the oven not heating up at all. there were also hardened bumps (possibly old food) on the table in the kitchen and on 2 of the plates. not to mention that a portable charger AND our charging cable was taken from our room when it was being cleaned… and no sort of reimbursement or option for replacement from staff. hiroko was amazing though, she was very helpful and provided us with a lot of information, as for the stay, i wouldn’t book here again.
Awesome views. Size of our 3 bedroom apartment was great however in a 4 star apartment you would expect there to be at least one king size bed. Only one queensize bed all the rest were singles.
Apartment was freezing cold even after putting air con to 27 degrees. No instructions on how to operate said air conditioner so assuming it was set to cool internally. Not good. Not enough blankets in that igloo.
A book on attractions and things to do at the apartment complex would have been great too.
There was no broom or vacuum in apartment either.
Very very narrow parking spaces.
When paying over $1300 for 3 nights for 4 people I believe it could have been better.
